If TrustPort Antivirus provides a basic level of protection, TrustPort Internet Security has a lot more to offer. This is a powerful security solution that does a proper job of keeping your system, your data, and even your children safe. It comes with file system protection to guard against malware, web protection to guard against dangerous webpages, mail protection to guard against dangerous emails, a personal firewall so you can control which applications can connect to the web, and a handy Parental Lock so you can make sure your children don’t access adult websites and other things that are not suitable for them. TrustPort Internet Security also allows you to create and store a portable antivirus on a Flash drive.

The system requirements for running TrustPort Internet Security are: Intel Pentium IV processor or better, 512MB of RAM memory or more, 500MB of free disk space, Windows operating system (anything from Windows 2000 up to Windows 8).

The TrustPort Internet Security installer is close to 300MB in size. So, even on a high-speed connection, it may take a bit for the download to complete. Run the installer and a setup wizard will show up and guide you through the installation process. You will get to choose one of many supported languages and you will get to pick one of two installation methods: Standard Setup (the most common options will be installed) and Advanced Setup (you get to pick and choose). Once the installation process is done, you will be invited to restart your machine.

When your PC boots up, you will see a green icon in the system tray. Double click it and you will be presented with the application’s interface. It tells you if your PC is protected, allows you to enable/disable protection features, launch a scan, configure the firewall, change the language, and more. You’ll find the black-themed interface good looking and quite easy to use.

TrustPort Internet Security’s aim is to keep your PC safe and secure. To do this, it puts a long list of features at your disposal: antivirus protection, on-demand scans, several types of scans, application inspector, personal firewall, mail protection, integrates with multiple email clients (Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Thunderbird, The Bat!), spam filter, protection against dangerous websites, create a portable antivirus for your Flash drive, encrypt text with Skytale, sync data with the cloud with Portunes, recovery system disk, Game Mode, automatic updates, Parental Lock to block access to adult and other websites that are unsuited for children.

Please note that TrustPort Internet Security is free to use for a 30-day trial period.

Enjoy a proper level of protection by using TrustPort Internet Security on your PC.

Pros

Support for multiple Windows editions is provided; the system requirements for running the application can be easily met; installing TrustPort Internet Security takes little time and effort. The application features a good looking, user friendly interface. TrustPort Internet Security protects your PC from a variety of threats. The Parental Lock feature comes in handy if you have children.
